How can I power up the camera?
As the diagram showing on the product overview page, there are multiple ways to power up the camera. -1. By POE NVR over ethernet cable -2. By POE switch over ethernet cable -3. By POE Injector over ethernet cable -4. By a dedicated 12VDC power adapter. Please determine the most suitable one as your installation case.
Is my camera suitable for outdoor use, and what level of weather resistance does it offer?
Absolutely Yes, all 4COVR cameras works for outdoor and indoor with IP67 water/dust-proof design.
What Kinds of Ethernet Cable should it work with ?
It would be better to use CAT5 or higher standard cables for better data and power tranmission
How does it store the recordings ? need to buy a NVR ?
Yes, this series of camera has no Micro SD slot for local storage, it has to connect to external storage devices for continouse recordings, NVR is an optimal choice.
What are the way to remote view and playback?
The most popular method for this is by using mobile app, named "Remoteyess" to reach the camera directly. But if you attach the cameras to 4COVR NVRs for centrallized management, the mobile app will be "Guard Viewer" to launch.Both are free to download from google play and app store. it's up to you.
