Why should i use PoE to replace Wi-Fi?
That is really a good question. Actually wired system is more stable for data tranmission than Wireless. specially 4K or more video streaming. it needs the high bandwidth with stable channel. Additionaly, it normally exists the signal blind-spot in the wide area, it limits the camera installation extreamly. PoE,as a new solution for wired security camera system, it simplifies the installation and without maintenance almost.
Does your NVR support 3rd party cameras ? What brands does it works with ?
Yes,of course. 4COVR NVR allows the other brans' camera which support ONVIF protocol to integrate seamlessly.
Will the camera system be hacked easily ?
We think no, since all data are saved locally, but not absolutely. The user would modify the defult password,better to diable Upnp if no need the remote accees via internet. Meanwhile isolate the network level between the office and security system, it will prevent the hacked incident happened. Don't forget to upgrade the firmware perodically,probably it fixed the security bugs.
Does 4CVOR NVR support recordings backup?
Yes, normally you can use protable HDD or U-disk to export the critical recordings as evidence.Just plug the units into NVR through USB port ( better USB3.0). Search and select the footage that you need.After clicking "backup" button,the data will be saved into units.
How do I playback recordings?
Stored footage on the recorder can be accessed remotely using the compatible app or on the recorder itself. Refer to your recorder's manual for playback instructions.
Does this NVR system support 24/7 recording?
Yes, 4COVR Camera System supports 24/7 recording,Not only that, it support event-triggered recording to save critical footage. all recording will be overwritten if the storage is full.
