Can I turn off the dual light ?
Yes, it's configured by yourself. the dual-light is lighten when detect the motion at night time by default. in contrast of black/white night vision, it show clear color pictures with more details.
How do I add cameras over LAN or an external PoE switch?
Power up the wired camera by POE switch or use a dedicated power adapter with ethernet cable to local network switch.Login NVR's search window to try to discover new devices, then add to bind them to specific channels. That's all.
Is my camera suitable for outdoor use, and what level of weather resistance does it offer?
Absolutely Yes, all 4COVR cameras works for outdoor and indoor with IP67 water/dust-proof design.
Must it record to NVR ? need to buy NVR additionally ？
Not Exactly, this type of cameras have built-in Micro SD slot, it can record the footage continousely and auto-overwrite once the card is full.Another optimal choice is to work with a NVR system as external storage devices. We suggest you buying camera and NVR from same brand for best compatibility.
Does the camera work with my 4COVR PoE NVR?
Yes, but the encoding parameter must be matched between camera and NVR, for example, it's a 8MP NVR unit ,the maximum supported resolution for enders is 8MP but you plug 12MP camera into, it will shows the camera online but probably black windows, please modify the camera resolution by NVR settings or login the Camera's webpage to change it manully.
What are the way to remote view and playback?
The most popular method for this is by using mobile app, named "Remoteyess" to reach the camera directly. But if you attach the cameras to 4COVR NVRs for centrallized management, the mobile app will be "Guard Viewer" to launch.Both are free to download from google play and app store. it's up to you.
